Job Description: HR Manager (National Role)
Location: Dallas, TX

About the Role
Exponents is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to oversee and streamline HR operations across all U.S. locations — Dallas, San Diego, Orlando, and Las Vegas. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, managing HR paperwork and processes, handling recruitment needs, addressing challenges raised by authorities or audits, and keeping policies and employee documentation updated.
The HR Manager will be the central point of contact for all HR-related functions across locations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Compliance & Legislative Updates
- Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local employment legislation, industry trends, and HR best practices to ensure compliance across all locations.
- Advise staff and management on governmental statutes, regulations, OSHA compliance, leave administration, and HR provisions of law.
- Ensure company compliance with all federal and state legislation regarding personnel matters.
- Review and update company policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters annually to maintain compliance with local and national regulations.
- Communicate changes in company personnel policies and procedures to employees, ensuring proper compliance and understanding.
- Act as the point of contact for any notices, questions, or complaints from government authorities, employees, or auditors, and ensure they are handled promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Proactively manage challenges or issues raised by authorities, audits, or inspections, ensuring timely resolution.
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Lead and oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, workers' compensation, and the full employee lifecycle across Exponents’ locations.
- Maintain accurate databases, records, and paperwork across all sites.
- Execute strategies to enhance HR operations, providing employees and leadership with the resources needed for success.
- Manage contract provisions related to salary, salary deductions, assignments, transfers, evaluations, working hours, leaves, early retirement, illness and absence regulations, and resignations.
Technology & HR Systems
- Set up, implement, and manage a centralized HR technology platform to streamline HR processes, compliance documentation, and employee self-service.
- Ensure the platform provides easy access for employees while strengthening compliance, reporting, and record-keeping across locations.
- Leverage HR technology for recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, payroll compliance checks, and training programs.
Talent Development & Succession Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs as part of succession planning strategies to support the growth and development of employees.
- Assist executive management in the annual review, preparation, and administration of the company’s wage and salary program.
Advisory & Legal Collaboration
- Consult with legal counsel, as appropriate or directed by the CEO, on personnel matters.
- Provide leadership with timely reports and updates on HR compliance, risks, and employee matters.
Other Duties
- Perform additional HR-related tasks and projects as assigned to support business operations and employee success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications preferred).
- 6 to 8 years of HR management experience, preferably across multi-location operations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, compliance requirements, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and succession planning.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing or managing HR technology systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing HR operations across multiple time zones and sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
