Job Purpose

To manage and support all human resources functions across Umami Projects’ operations, ensuring proper recruitment, employee relations, documentation, and compliance with Bahraini labor laws. The HR Officer will coordinate HR processes for multiple restaurants and business units, contributing to a positive and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment: job postings, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
  • Prepare employment offers, contracts, and renewals.
  • Manage staff registration and renewals with LMRA, SIO, and MOH systems.
  • Track visa expirations, medical checkups, and renewals.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and overtime reports.
  • Support in payroll preparation by providing attendance and overtime data to accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with Bahraini labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate employee performance evaluations and appraisals.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and confidentiality cases professionally.
  • Support training and development initiatives across projects.
  • Provide HR reports and updates to management regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience in the F&B or service industry in Bahrain.
  • Knowledge of LMRA, SIO, MOH, and Bahraini labor law procedures.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software (Zoho People, Odoo HR, or similar is a plus).
  • Discreet, ethical, and able to handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD150.000 - BD350.000 per month
