Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee and ensure compliance with all statutory and labour laws across multiple construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HR compliances specific to the construction industry, subcontractor management, and statutory documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, PF, ESI, Wages Act, Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, and other statutory regulations.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and returns in coordination with site HR and contractors.
- Verify and monitor compliance status of all subcontractors and labour suppliers.
- Liaise with government departments and labour authorities as required.
- Conduct internal HR audits at project sites to ensure adherence to company and legal standards.
- Prepare and submit monthly compliance reports to management.
- Ensure timely renewal of licences (CLRA, BOCW, etc.) and registration certificates.
- Provide guidance to site HR and project managers on statutory requirements and company policies.
- Manage employee onboarding documentation, attendance, and payroll compliance.
- Handle inspections, notices, and audits from statutory bodies efficiently.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in HR / Labour Welfare / Industrial Relations.
- 5–8 years of HR compliance experience in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory documentation.
- Hands-on experience in dealing with subcontractor compliance.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
