HR Operations

Job Vacancy: HR Operations
Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai, UAE (as applicable)
Industry: Construction / Engineering / Project-Based Organization

We are seeking a highly experienced HR Operations to join our organization in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and solid experience working in construction or project-driven environments, with deep knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.

1) HR Operations (Core Responsibility)

  • Lead and manage all HR operational activities, including:
  • o Employee onboarding and offboardingo Employment contracts and renewalso Leave management and attendance controlo Employee records and HR database management
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies
  • Act as the main custodian of HR processes and documentation2) Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle:
  • o Recruitment coordinationo Offer letters and onboarding processeso Probation tracking and confirmationso Resignations and terminations
  • Ensure smooth employee experience across all stages3) HR Policies & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations and internal policies
  • Support audits and HR compliance reviews
  • Maintain updated employee records for legal and audit purposes

4) Payroll & Benefits Coordination

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with finance team
  • Manage:
  • o Attendance and timesheetso Overtime calculationso End of service benefits
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing5) Recruitment Support & Coordination
  • Coordinate with hiring managers for manpower planning
  • Manage job postings and candidate screening support
  • Arrange interviews and follow-ups
  • Handle onboarding documentation and joining formalities

6) Employee Relations

  • Act as point of contact for employee queries and HR issues
  • Handle grievances and disciplinary procedures professionally
  • Ensure positive working environment and employee engagement

7) HR Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare HR reports including:
  • o Headcount reportso Attrition reportso Leave and attendance reports
  • Maintain accurate HR dashboards and records for management review8) Visa & Government Relations Coordination
  • Coordinate with PRO for visa processing and renewals
  • Manage labour contracts, Emirates ID, medical insurance processes
  • Ensure timely renewals of employee documentation

9) HR Systems & Data Management

  • Manage HRMS system updates and employee data accuracy
  • Ensure proper digital filing and documentation control
  • Support automation of HR processes where possible

10) HR Team Support & Supervision

  • Supervise junior HR staff or coordinators
  • Review HR documentation before submission
  • Ensure efficiency and accuracy in HR operations delivery

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance
  • Experience in construction or project-based companies is an advantage
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office
  • Ability to handle multiple HR processes in a fast-paced environment
