Human Resources Functions
-
Assists with communications with benefits consultants, plan vendors, and third-party administrators, including supplemental plans and flex spending accounts.

Ensures timeliness and accuracy of required reporting related to benefits.

Assists with coordinating daily benefits processing. Handles enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, 401k loans, hardships, and compliance testing.

Communicates and verifies all payroll deductions related to benefits.

Assists with maintenance of employee benefits files, maintains group benefits database, and updates employee benefits records.

Gathers employee data and oversees the processing of monthly billings.

Assists with monitoring administrative costs of benefits programs and assists accounting team in the monitoring, verifying, and reconciling of benefits accounts.

Provides customer service support to internal and external customers. Assists with the development of communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package.

Assists with and administers employee reviews, including 30 and 90-day and annual reviews.

Assists with the Open Enrollment process annually.

Monitors and reports on the company's affirmative action plan.

Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes by managing the Applicant Tracking system.

Assists in onboarding and terminating employees.

Assists in employee onboarding and helps organize training and development initiatives.

Creates various reports in Insperity system.
-
Provides support to employees in various HR related topics.

Other duties as assigned.
Training Coordinator Functions – Noncompliance-related

Order and track all other training.
-
Assist compliance officer with annual training event.
-
Send quarterly reminders to employees and supervisors reminding them of incomplete training.
-
Maintain training websites such as TBA and ABA.
-
Coordinate and administer training to branches in coordination with other managers.
-
Develop procedures related to training as needed.
Additional Responsibilities: Operations Assistant
-
Process Incoming wires.
-
Back up Refill postage machine.
-
Debit cards: order, hot card, raise/lower limits, unblock cards.
-
Assist customers with ATM/debit card issues i.e., unauthorized, and disputed charges.
-
Assisting customers with online banking issues.
-
Bookkeeping functions – answer phone and take bookkeeping calls.
-
Using mailer machine for notices.
-
Recognizing and reporting of suspicious activity.
-
Performing second review of wire originations.

New Account Review

Analyze monthly phone data.
-
Assist with Fiserv user updates.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
-
Associate's degree in business or related field or equivalent Banking and Human Resources experience required.

General computer skills.
-
Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

Good conversational and written communication skills
-
Understanding of responsibilities for the Bank Secrecy Act through training.
