HR Operations Section Head

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Operations Section Head to lead and manage our HR operational functions, including payroll, personnel, administration, HR Application and HR systems compliance. The ideal candidate will streamline processes, ensure legal compliance, and drive operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.

As part of our greater mission to make healthier food choices accessible and sustainable for people's everyday lifestyle - we're extending our commitment to the region with our entry into the Saudi Arabian market, with a substantial retail expansion plan and on-ground operations starting Q2, 2025 in Riyadh.


Lychee relies on both its manufacturing capabilities and brand recognition built over a decade to expand its retail operations seamlessly based on customer demand and to scale its existing presence in modern trade, traditional trade and quick commerce.


What will you be doing?

  • Oversee and manage the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.
  • Supervise all personnel activities, including contracts, documentation, attendance, leaves, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws and company policies in all HR operations and administrative practices.
  • Manage and ensure up to date data of the HRIS and employee database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Handle the administration function, including office services, government relations, and employee services.
  • Develop and implement HR operational policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal audits, inspections, and official reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze HR KPIs, such as time to process payroll, accuracy rates, and personnel file completeness.
  • Manage and enhance employee benefits processes such as medical insurance, life insurance, transportation and housing services.
  • Coordinate with the finance department on payroll-related matters, tax compliance, and reconciliation.
  • Lead and develop the HR Operations team, ensuring proper delegation, performance, and professional growth.
  • Support HR projects such as system upgrades, automation, or employee self-service tools.
  • Liaise with legal and government entities (e.g., labor office, social insurance) to manage formal employee documentation and compliance.


What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in HR Operations experience; preferably, manufacturing experience along with 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS, Labor Law, Income Tax, and Governmental regulations
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Pro-active mindset with the ability to prioritize, solve problems, and lead under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
