Location: Huntsville, AL
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually

Position Summary:

As an HRPayroll Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting both the human resources and payroll functions within our fast-growing distribution organization. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, technology-driven environment and enjoys balancing administrative precision with people-centered initiatives.

You will oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain comprehensive employee records, and assist in implementing HR programs that foster a positive and productive workplace. In addition, you'll contribute to the company's talent acquisition efforts-helping recruit, onboard, and support employees as part of our commitment to excellence and growth.

This position is approximately 80% HR administration and 20% payroll processing, requiring strong organizational skills, a high level of confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will bring proven HR experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems.

What You'll Do

As our HRPayroll Administrator, you'll play a key role in managing and enhancing our human resources and payroll operations. You'll ensure all employee information is accurate and confidential, payroll is processed seamlessly, and HR policies align with our company values. You'll also support recruitment efforts and help foster a positive, engaging workplace culture.

Your contributions will directly impact employee satisfaction, compliance, and the overall success of our growing organization.


Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Process weekly payroll, including timekeeping, overtime, and deductions.

Respond promptly to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.

Support recruitment by posting job openings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.

Assist with onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives.

Help implement HR programs and policies that promote engagement and retention.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration.

Strong understanding of employment and labor laws.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Payroll (CPP) or Human Resources (PHR/SPHR).

Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS and payroll platforms.

Familiarity with employee benefits administration.
