HR & Payroll Administrator / Accounting Support

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR/Payroll/Accounting Administrator to support our growing organization. This role is responsible for day-to-day HR administration, payroll processing, and assisting with accounting functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, discreet, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources

  • Maintain employee records and personnel files
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Coordinate year-end HR-related reporting and documentation

Payroll

  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Assist with payroll-related audits and reporting

Accounting Support

  • Assist with Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and vendor management
  • Prepare and track 1099s and support year-end filings
  • Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed

Benefits & Retirement

  • Gather and prepare year-end 401(k) data and documentation
  • Coordinate with external providers to ensure accurate reporting

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, payroll, or accounting support (combination roles preferred)
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes and employment regulations
  • Experience with Accounts Payable and 1099 preparation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with payroll/accounting software a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
