Job Title: HR & Payroll Assistant
Location: Ahmedabad
Industry: Infrastructure / Construction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Maintain employee records including attendance, leave, and personal data for payroll purposes.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory requirements like PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, and labour laws.
  • Handle periodic filings and returns (PF/ESIC/PT) and liaise with government departments for timely submission.
  • Generate salary slips, full & final settlements, bonus, and gratuity calculations.
  • Assist in audits and inspections related to HR statutory compliance.
  • Coordinate with finance and external consultants for compliance-related documentation and verification.
  • Support recruitment activities, onboarding, employee engagement, and exit processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all HR and payroll-related operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR and payroll, preferably in the infrastructure or construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and hands-on experience with related processes and portals.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software (e.g., Nway HRMs, or equivalent).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration(Preferred), or a related field.
