HR Payroll & Benefits Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR, Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our HR Department. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end payroll experience for UAE employees, ensuring compliance with labour laws, company policies, and WPS for medium-to-large businesses. In addition to payroll, this role will streamline HR functions and lead digital transformation across the employee lifecycle. As an employee-facing role, strong communication and a high level of confidentiality are essential.

Mandatory Requirements & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Must have a :
  • understanding of finance and financial terms
  • understanding of UAE Jafza Labour Laws
  • understanding of payroll integration for Microsoft Dynamics or an ERP system
  • level of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • level of confidentiality to handle sensitive information

o level of understanding in the preparation and disbursement of the End of Service benefits as per the UAE labor law

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the HR Team, the specialist will:

  • take the lead on payroll automation efforts on Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring the transition from manual to automated HR and payroll systems is a success
  • work in partnership with Finance, IT, and vendors, and ensure seamless and timely delivery of HRMS, payroll, and self-service tools
  • ensure timely and accurate payroll execution, reconciliation, and closure within the HRMS
  • manage end-to-end payroll processing for UAE employees in compliance with labor laws, company policies, and WPS requirements
  • be responsible for salaries disbursement, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation elements
  • record, track and reconcile accruals (gratuity and leave salaries)
  • review and reconcile payroll reports, resolving discrepancies promptly
  • administer benefits and deductions related to insurance, loans, and end-of-service entitlements
  • identify and implement improvements in payroll processes and system efficiency
  • stay informed on changes in local labor laws and payroll regulations
  • prepare payroll journal entries and coordinate with Finance for month-end closing and audit
  • liaise with their HR Team on onboarding, exits, promotions, and changes affecting payroll
  • support internal and external audits by providing the required payroll data and documentation
  • maintain, centralize, manage and improve employee records and benefits administration (attendance, leaves, loans, health insurance, air ticket allowances, EOS benefits)
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • support HR policies implementation and employee training and communication
  • generate and analyze HR and payroll reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, cost analysis)
  • provide insights to support strategic HR planning and decision-making through data analysis
  • ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in reporting
