Processing employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with tax and labor laws, and maintaining confidential employee records. Key responsibilities involve calculating wages, managing deductions, and preparing reports, while essential skills include meticulousness, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with payroll software excellent command in Excel mandatory.

  • Process payroll: Calculate and process accurate and timely payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance: Stay up-to-date with and ensure adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Manage deductions: Ensure proper deductions are made for taxes, social security, and other withholdings.
  • Maintain records: Keep employee records accurate and confidential, including personal information, pay history, and benefits.
  • Handle inquiries: Act as a point of contact for employees with payroll-related questions or discrepancies.
  • Generate reports: Prepare and submit tax payments, file tax returns, and generate payroll-related reports and dashboards for management
