Creative Platform Fashion Designing is a leading fashion consultancy and production house with in-house design, sampling, and manufacturing capabilities. Our team includes designers, pattern masters, tailors, pressmen, cleaners, QC, and supervisors working together to deliver high-quality garments to clients across the region.
We are looking for a dedicated HR & Workforce Coordinator to manage both office staff and blue-collar workers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the factory floor.
Role Overview
The HR & Workforce Coordinator will handle HR duties, administration, and the daily management of blue-collar staff. This includes attendance, behaviour management, conflict resolution, onboarding, labour law compliance, and ensuring the factory team works efficiently with Operations.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident, organised, and firm when needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources
- Maintain all employee files, contracts, visas, renewals, and HR records.
- Assist recruitment for all roles — Designers, Tailors, Pattern Masters, QC, Cleaners, Admins, etc.
- Conduct basic interviews for labour staff and coordinate technical tests.
- Handle onboarding, orientation, and monthly evaluations (especially during probation).
- Support payroll preparation with accurate attendance and overtime reporting.
- Assist with warnings, disciplinary actions, and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with UAE labour law.
Blue-Collar Workforce Management
- Monitor daily attendance, punctuality, overtime, and overall discipline.
- Coordinate with Production & Sampling Supervisors on manpower allocation.
- Resolve minor conflicts, behaviour issues, or disputes before they escalate.
- Ensure tailors, pattern masters, and cleaners follow company standards and instructions.
- Track tailor/pattern master productivity and report any concerns.
- Ensure workers have necessary materials (threads, scissors, needles, tools, PPE).
- Manage daily break timings and rotation if required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment for labour staff.
Administration & Coordination
- Manage office supplies, basic procurement, and stock for the floor.
- Assist with scheduling, reminders, and daily task follow-ups.
- Coordinate internal communication between HR, Operations, Accounts, and Design.
- Monitor driver tasks and courier arrangements.
- Support management with monthly HR reports (leave balance, warnings, new hires, performance concerns).
Requirements
- 2–5 years HR/Admin experience in UAE (factory environment preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills — able to manage blue-collar workers confidently.
- Good understanding of UAE labour law.
- Strong organising and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and fast-moving work environments.
- English required; Hindi/Urdu/Tagalog is a strong advantage.
