This role goes beyond desk recruitment. The HR Recruiter will be deeply connected with people on the ground—workers, supervisors, contractors, vendors, and site managers. The role requires hands-on involvement in the complete manpower lifecycle: sourcing, screening, onboarding, deployment coordination, and retention support for blue-collar workforce. You are expected to understand labor behavior, field challenges, and real-world hiring constraints, not just close positions on paper.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar roles including construction workers, security guards, drivers, delivery agents, kitchen staff, housekeeping staff, plumbers, electricians, and helpers
  • Plan and execute bulk hiring drives, walk-in interviews, and site-based recruitment activities
  • Build and maintain a ready manpower pipeline to meet urgent and high-volume requirements
  • Source candidates through labor communities, referrals, vendors, contractors, local networks, and field outreach
  • Screen candidates for skill fit, physical readiness, availability, and reliability
  • Coordinate with operations teams to understand daily manpower needs and deployment timelines
  • Ensure smooth joining, documentation, and basic compliance during onboarding
  • Track hiring numbers, joining ratios, dropouts, and replacement requirements
  • Meet aggressive hiring timelines without compromising workforce quality.
  • A seasoned HR recruiter who has worked extensively in blue-collar or labor-intensive industries
  • Comfortable operating in field environments, labor camps, sites, and local hiring zones
  • Someone who understands worker psychology, migration patterns, attendance issues, and retention challenges
  • Proven ability to close positions fast and consistently, even under pressure
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in blue-collar / bulk manpower recruitment
  • Prior hiring exposure in industries such as construction, logistics, facility management, hospitality, security, or delivery platforms
  • Demonstrated success in high-volume hiring (e.g., hiring 300–500+ workers within short timelines)
  • Experience working closely with site teams, contractors, and manpower vendors
  • Strong people connect and ability to gain trust at ground level
  • Clear and practical communication (local language proficiency is a strong advantage)
  • High emotional intelligence to handle worker concerns, dropouts, and conflicts
  • Ethical hiring practices and respect for workforce dignity
  • Ownership mindset and accountability for hiring outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Practical experience is valued more than academic specialization
  • Any certification in HR, labor laws, or industrial relations is an added advantage
