HR Recruiter - Dutchess County

The Arc Greater Hudson Valley NY is currently hiring a full-time Recruiter to run full cycle recruiting for a variety of positions in Dutchess County, NY

The Arc Greater Hudson Valley, NY is a not-for-profit agency created in January 2021 dedicated to providing supports to over 2,000 people with disabilities and their families in Sullivan, Orange, and Dutchess Counties. Formerly known as The Arc Sullivan-Orange Counties and The Arc of Dutchess, The Arc Greater Hudson Valley provides innovative, high-quality services including Residential Services, Clinical Services, Day Services, Family Support Services, Guardianship Services, Children's Education Services, Employment Services, Recreation, Respite and more.

Essential Job Functions:

• Creating and updating online and paper employment advertisements
• Update online application system regularly
• Attend community events and recruitment job fairs
• Create and post employment flyers in the local community
• Pre-screen job candidates over the phone and/or in person
• Regularly communication with program and residence managers
• Confer with management to identify recruiting needs
• Manage applicant tracking system
• Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Required High School Diploma
• Valid NYS Drivers License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Publisher
• Public speaking and cooperative communication skills
• Previous experience working with the population of developmental disabilities preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources with a focus on Recruitment required.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels within the organization and in the community.
