Key Job Elements

  • Manage talent acquisition process for assigned roles;
  • Manage and direct employee investigations;
  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to plant HR staff;
  • Responsible for performance management program;
  • Create and/or recommend company policies and procedures;
  • Develop, identify and track metrics for assigned employees;
  • Serve as Business Partner to plant managers and local leadership in facilities;
  • Monitor company initiatives to ensure assigned areas are in compliance.

Education / Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, Human Resources or related field of study preferred;

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Human Resources management role;
  • Strong ability to lead teams and communicate verbally and in writing;
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft office and HR programs;
  • Knowledge of Employment Law;
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal laws. Working knowledge of HR best practices;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels;
  • Sound judgement and confidentiality;
  • HR Certification required.

Essential and Physical Activities Functions
  • Strength – Position typically involves work in a standard office environment. Occasional standing and walking. Heavy lifting is rare but may be required;
  • Motion – Position regularly requires standard repetitive motions and hand/eye coordination associated with office communications. May require bending, lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. in cases where Safety investigations require them;
  • Vision/Hearing Requirements – Constant verbal communications, including both talking and hearing;
  • Work Environment – Position may involve occasional work in a non-temperature-controlled facility;
  • Position will require occasional visits to industrial environment, including potential for noise (85+ decibels), frequent exposure to cold and temperature changes, exposure to hazardous materials, heavy equipment, high levels of dust, and other hazardous working conditions. May be required to remain for long periods of time in hazardous work environments to investigate and mitigate accidents/incidents;
  • Emotional Demands – Responsible for audits and reporting. Requires interpersonal skills and communication;
  • Safety – Position required to follow all safety guidelines and requirements.
