JOb Description – HR Officer
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our growing startup specializing in pet nutrition, veterinary supplements, and animal care solutions. The HR Officer will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law, and helping build a strong and positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and company regulations.
Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and support performance management.
Coordinate employee training, workshops, and development initiatives.
Assist with payroll preparation by providing accurate employee data.
Track attendance, leave records, and handle related HR operations.
Support HR projects and contribute to improving HR processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR experience with strong focus on recruitment and employee support.
Proficiency in HR software (Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of UAE employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
