STONEX Recruiting is looking for an experienced HR Specialist in Logistics to join our growing team.
We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in the trucking industry who understands driver recruiting, onboarding, and compliance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit CDL drivers (OTR, Team, Owner Operators)
- Screen and pre-qualify driver candidates
- Conduct phone interviews and evaluate driver experience
- Manage the full hiring and onboarding process
- Collect and review hiring documents
- Verify CDL, MVR, medical card, and work history
- Coordinate driver orientation and start dates
- Explain company policies, pay structure, and driving expectations
- Maintain communication and follow-up with applicants
- Work with FMCSA, DOT, and Clearinghouse requirements
- Support driver retention and communication
- Maintain recruiting records and reports
- Work closely with safety and dispatch departments
Requirements:
- Experience in driver recruiting or logistics HR
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance
- Understanding of driver qualification and onboarding process
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with recruiting platforms and job boards
- English required (Spanish is a plus)
