To support our growth, we are seeking an HR & Talent Manager to lead internal people operations while helping expand HR advisory services for our clients.

Position Overview

The HR & Talent Manager plays a critical role in building and sustaining a high-performing team at Prestige.

This role oversees internal HR operations, manages recruiting and talent acquisition, and serves as a trusted resource for employee guidance and workplace matters. The HR & Talent Manager will also help support clients who subscribe to Prestige’s HR advisory services by providing onboarding, training, best-practice guidance, and compliance insights.

This individual will help ensure that Prestige continues to attract, hire, and retain professionals who embody our culture of teamwork, high performance, professionalism, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Prestige team members.
  • Review resumes and identify strong candidates aligned with company needs.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments.
  • Coordinate second and third-round interviews with leadership.
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop hiring strategies to attract high-performing professionals.
  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for future roles.

Employee Experience & HR Support

  • Serve as a resource for employee questions, concerns, and workplace guidance.
  • Help navigate employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Provide sound guidance to leadership regarding people dynamics and team culture.
  • Lead onboarding of new employees to ensure smooth integration.
  • Assist with HR policies, documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Maintain organized HR records and documentation.

Culture & Organizational Development

  • Help reinforce Prestige’s values and culture of teamwork, accountability, high performance, professionalism, and collaboration.
  • Provide insight into team dynamics and opportunities for organizational improvement.
  • Support leadership in fostering a positive and productive remote workplace environment.
  • Assist with internal initiatives related to team engagement and culture.

Client HR Advisory Support

  • Provide HR best-practice guidance to client schools who subscribe to Prestige’s HR services.
  • Advise clients on HR policies, employee handbook considerations, and compliance topics.
  • Help clients understand HR software tools offered through Prestige partners.
  • Provide guidance related to employment law basics, HR documentation, and workplace practices.

Note: This role does not perform HR tasks for clients but serves as an advisory resource.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and recruiting practices.
  • Support Prestige’s long-term growth strategy by building scalable talent systems.
  • Stay current on HR trends, employment law updates, and best practices.

Qualifications

Required

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification and the ability to articulate best practices, technical knowledge and industry standards.
  • 5–7 years of professional HR, recruiting, and talent acquisition experience with a documented record of success.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills that promote trust, relatability, and confidence.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive employee issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting remote teams.
  • Familiarity with HR software platforms and HRIS systems.
  • A desire to be the standard bearer who other HR and Talent Managers look to for inspiration.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and intellectual curiosity in the field of human resources.
  • A passion for keeping informed on emerging trends, regulatory developments, and best practices, and actively seeking opportunities to deepen expertise through reading, professional networks, conferences, and continuing education.
  • Experience working with professional services firms.
