Overview
The HR/HSE Admin provides day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) teams. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in Human Resources, safety, or compliance within a regulated industry. Training will be provided, and this role offers opportunities to learn and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR and HSE teams, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating training sessions
- Assist with preparing, organizing, and maintaining HR and HSE documentation, records, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support recruiting efforts by posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Help track compliance activities, audits, inspections, and follow-up actions
- Complete employment verifications and respond to verification requests under direction
- Order uniforms and company-issued equipment for new hires and existing employees, ensuring proper tracking and inventory
- Assist with internal communications and social media by posting approved content related to hiring, employee engagement, and company updates
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems for safety manuals, permits, incident reports, and regulatory documentation
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence related to HR and HSE initiatives
- Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, and external contacts as needed while maintaining confidentiality
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, document control, and office coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- Previous administrative, office, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to learn and follow policies, procedures, and compliance-related documentation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Positive attitude, dependable, and eager to learn and grow

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
