Our client, an established organization in the property & casualty insurance industry, is seeking a HRIS Reporting Analyst to support data analysis and reporting in Workday (Financials & HR Modules). This role is ideal for someone with hands-on reporting experience who enjoys working with data, building reports, and partnering with business teams. The position offers the opportunity to grow into deeper Workday functionality over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and create reports to support HR and Finance teams, as well as broader operational reporting needs.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance custom reports within Workday, ensuring accuracy and usability.
  • Modify existing reports by adjusting fields, filters, and layouts based on user requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather reporting needs and translate them into user-friendly Workday reports.
  • Provide post go-live Workday support, including report maintenance, enhancements, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in testing and validating reports in Workday; maintain report security, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams on reporting enhancements and issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data visibility.


Qualifications/Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a reporting or data-focused role, with functional exposure to Workday.
  • Experience analyzing data and building reports to support business units, including HR and/or Finance users.
  • Knowledge or hands on experience in Workday HCM/HRIS and/or Financials modules preferred.
  • Experience using Workday reporting tools, such as Advanced, Matrix, or Composite reports.
  • Ability to troubleshoot reporting issues, perform data validation, and ensure accuracy of financial reports.
  • Exposure to post-go-live Workday support, including report maintenance and enhancements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, IT, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Workday certification (HR/HRIS, Reporting or Financials) preferred.
  • Familiarity with integration tools or frameworks in Workday, such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, or Cloud Connect is a plus.
