Position Summary
The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), with a strong focus on ADP Workforce Now. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for HR system administration, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration of HR processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ADP HRIS platforms and the ability to analyze data, generate reports, and support HR initiatives through technology.
Essential duties and responsibilities

Oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.

Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.

Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions

Administer and maintain ADP Workforce Now, including system configurations, workflows, and reporting.

Serve as the subject matter expert for HRIS-related inquiries and system troubleshooting.

Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of employee data across all HRIS modules.

Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to support system upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.

Develop and maintain HRIS dashboards and custom reports to support HR metrics and business needs.

Train HR staff and managers on system functionality and best practices.

Monitor compliance with federal, state, and company policies through accurate HRIS data management.

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within HR processes.

Support and lead annual HR projects such as open enrollment, performance management, and compensation reviews.

Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.

Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.

Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.

Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Education and Experience
Required
-
Minimum 3–5 years of HRIS experience with demonstrated expertise in ADP Workforce Now.

Strong knowledge of HR processes including payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.

Experience with HR reporting, analytics, and data auditing.

High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred
-
Prior experience in a multi-site or field-based workforce environment is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (configuration, reporting, and security administration).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
