About the role
AllianceHCM is looking for a highly analytical, intensely detail-oriented HRIS Specialist to lead the configuration of core human resources modules for clients onboarding to our platform. You'll transform nuanced client HR policies into automated, seamless software workflows — building the talent, compliance, and employee management infrastructure that powers their day-to-day operations.

This role is the architect of the HR experience — ensuring every applicant tracking workflow, onboarding journey, compliance process, and performance cycle is configured precisely before go-live. It's the right fit for someone with a deep understanding of HR operations, a strong technical instinct for system configuration, and an unwavering commitment to data integrity and compliance.

What you'll do
Lead end-to-end configuration of AllianceHCM's core HR modules — including applicant tracking interfaces, digital onboarding journeys, and employee lifecycle management parameters.
Configure and rigorously test automated compliance workflows, including Form I-9 processing and federal E-Verify system integrations, to ensure full legal adherence.
Establish complex organizational hierarchies, security roles, permission boundaries, and dynamic approval routing paths tailored to each client's governance structure.
Partner with senior client HR teams to design and implement performance management campaigns — building custom review templates, calibration matrices, and talent evaluation workflows.
Conduct deep diagnostic testing and audits of HR records throughout onboarding to guarantee data integrity, confidentiality, and security during migration.

What we're looking for
3+ years in HRIS administration, HR tech implementation, or HR operations.
Demonstrated ability to configure complex business rules, security profiles, and workflow logic within an HCM platform.
Strong background in data governance, privacy standards, and systemic auditing.
Experience configuring performance management and applicant tracking software.
Highly organized with a deep sense of ownership over compliance and accuracy.

Nice to have
Experience with I-9 and E-Verify administration in a multi-state or high-volume environment.
Familiarity with HCM platforms such as UKG, Workday, Ceridian, or isolved.
Background in HR policy documentation or HR technology change management.
