Pay range: $28.19 - $35.72 / hour; based on experience.
The HRIS Specialist at Chuze is the subject matter expert behind the maintenance of our Human Capital Management (HCM) system, HRIS, and the related HR technology to ensure they are compliant, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. In addition to providing technical support and accurate reporting in all HRIS operations, this role leverages cross-functional knowledge and system expertise to support HRIS-related projects that drive system enhancements and foster continuous improvement and innovation.
This is a remote position; the selected candidate will be located in San Diego, California, or Denver, Colorado, with the ability to visit the corporate offices up to once per quarter
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain the HCM, connected modules, and other HRIS to support business needs, ensuring efficient operations, maintenance of systems, and compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Maintain HR data within the HRIS and provide accurate summaries, documentation, and statistical analysis to support strategic planning, standardized reporting, and ad hoc queries
- Develop training on HRIS procedures and functionality, providing technical support and troubleshooting to users as needed
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and innovation, recommending solutions where appropriate
- Program custom functions and documentation, such as automated queries and user permissions, access, and personalization
- Support the People Team, internal departments, and stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects, determining appropriate measures to achieve goals

- This will be a 6-month contract with the potential for permanent placement/extension of services

Technical understanding of UKG Pro implementation and administration, with the ability to provide end-user support

2 - 4 years: Experience in Human Resources, HRIS administration, or related field

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration (may be supplemented by work experience)
