Salary: $104,000 - $119,000
Summary: Craig Technologies has an opening for an HRP Administrative and Grants Specialist at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas remotely. In this role, you play a role in the administration of grant policies and procedures for the HHPC2 contract in support of the NASA Human Research Program. The person will work at Johnson Space Center with a team of research management personnel.
You Will:
  • Coordinate meetings and reviews with stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings, status work progress and provide inputs for team success
  • Maintain HRP Program Planning & Control products and tools related to grants management and other administrative functions
  • Provide subject-matter expertise in support of HRP Grants Technical officer
  • Facilitate and status Grant submissions in support of HRP Program and Element activities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance and escalation processes for grants
  • Define and track metrics for grant award compliance
What You Bring:
You bring experience as a subject matter expert in grants management, program planning & control, and research planning data management. You use your experience and judgment to implement grant management best practices and optimize tools, processes, and standards. You comply with KBR’s Safety, Health and Environmental Plan, Quality Plan, and all safety policies and procedures, and complete all assigned training.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in administrative support
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in federal grant and contract management
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and multi-task assignments

DESIRED
  • Experience with NASA and/or NASA procedures and processes
  • Experience in a scientific or research environment
YOUR SKILLS:
REQUIRED
  • Well-developed skills in both written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and proactive ability to learn on the job
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
This position is expected to be 60% in person. Occasional travel may be required.
