Job Title: HRT – Primary Teacher (Home Room Teacher)
The Home Room Teacher (HRT) for Primary Classes is responsible for the academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development of students. The HRT serves as the main point of contact for students and parents, ensuring a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach core primary subjects as per the prescribed curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor and record students’ academic progress and behavior
- Support students’ emotional and social development
- Maintain attendance, records, and student portfolios
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Coordinate with subject teachers and school administration
- Prepare students for assessments, assemblies, and school activities
- Instill values, discipline, and life skills in students
- Ensure students’ safety and well-being at all times
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- D.El.Ed / B.Ed or equivalent teacher training qualification (preferred)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a child-friendly approach
- Ability to handle young learners effectively
- Knowledge of primary teaching methodologies
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of regional language is an advantage)
Experience
- 1–3 years of primary teaching experience preferred
- Freshers with appropriate qualifications may apply
Work Environment
- Classroom-based role with participation in school events and activities

Pay: ₹15,407.33 - ₹30,233.87 per month
