Job Title: HSE Officer / HSE Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE professional to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental policies across our fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, promote a culture of safety, and proactively manage risks on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures tailored to fit-out project environments.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to site personnel and subcontractors.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and KPIs.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure safety standards are upheld.
• Maintain documentation and records related to HSE compliance, permits, and certifications.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the fit-out or construction industry.
• Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of local HSE laws and international standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with safety management software and reporting tools.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
