Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented HSE Engineer to join our team in Dubai. In this vital role, the candidate will lead efforts to ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) regulations, implement effective safety management systems, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for all HSE-related matters, providing professional advice and guidance.
• Develop, implement, and manage effective HSE policies, programs, and systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Lead investigations of incidents and near-misses, ensuring preventive measures are in place.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Prepare periodic HSE performance reports and present findings to management.
• Supervise and mentor junior HSE staff, fostering continuous improvement in safety culture.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or Occupational Safety.
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in HSE, preferably within the villa /high rise construction sector with at least 2 years in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and international HSE legislation and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in HSE documentation, reporting, and management software.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE for site inspections and audits.
