About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSE Engineer for site supervision in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across our construction projects.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for construction activities
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions
• Provide HSE training and guidance to site personnel and contractors
• Monitor and report on key HSE performance indicators
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution
• Ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for construction sites
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends

What do we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HSE site supervision in construction projects
• Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental compliance requirements
• Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety auditing
• Proficiency in HSE management software and tools
• Experience with environmental management systems and industrial hygiene practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with all levels of personnel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to work on-site in Kuwait and travel to various project locations as needed
