HSE Engineer

Position: HSE Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ Years
Industry: Civil Construction / Roads & Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on project sites.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE standards, local regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor road and infrastructure construction activities to ensure safe work practices.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training for site personnel.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures by all workers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and documentation.
• Support emergency response planning and implementation on-site.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, safety standards, and construction safety practices.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Good understanding of roadworks, utilities, heavy equipment operations, and infrastructure activities.
• Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
