HSE Engineer – Job Description (JD)

Position: HSE Engineer

Location: North Kuwait Project (KOC)

Employment Type: Local Transfer Only

Joining: Immediate

Key Requirements

Minimum 8+ years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).

Valid KOC Safety Engineer Approval is mandatory.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.

Available for immediate joining.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

Candidates should have completed one or more of the following:

NEBOSH

ICertOSH

IDipOSH / International Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health

CSP (Certified Safety Professional)

CEP

GSP

QEP

Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)

Environmental Management

Industrial Hygiene

Construction Safety

ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor (Preferred)

ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards.

Ensure compliance with KOC HSE requirements and project safety regulations.

Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.

Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.

Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements.

Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and documentation.

Promote a proactive safety culture across the project site.

Additional Requirements

Strong knowledge of KOC HSE regulations and standards.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work in a multicultural project environment.

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Note: Immediate joiners with valid KOC Safety Engineer approval will be given preference.

Pay: From KD650.000 per month
