Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the HSE management system across all project sites.
- Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and hazard identification for power project operations.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations, electrical safety standards, and power project safety guidelines.
- Conduct site inspections, internal audits, and toolbox talks regularly.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide HSE training and safety awareness programs for site personnel, subcontractors, and technicians.
- Ensure proper use of PPE, emergency procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in power plants, substations, transmission lines, or utility projects.
- Valid NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local HSE regulations.
- Strong understanding of electrical hazards, permit-to-work systems, and power project safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and investigation skills.
