HSE Engineer – Villa Projects (Dubai)

We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer to join our team for residential villa construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with UAE regulations, company HSE policies, and international standards to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company procedures.
• Identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to site staff and workers.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports with preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, and local authorities to ensure all HSE requirements are met.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the workforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HSE Engineer in construction, preferably villa/residential projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, HSE regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
