HSE Manager

Responsibilities 
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans tailored to building construction projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project schedules and workflows.
- Provide strategic leadership in promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- Lead by example and actively engage with project teams to reinforce safety priorities.
- Stay abreast of local and international HSE regulations applicable to building construction.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for construction activities and identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks to personnel and property.
- Oversee the development and delivery of HSE training programs for project personnel.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability on construction sites.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses and analyze root causes.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE activities, incident reports, and training records.
- Generate regular reports for project stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols.
- Conduct drills and exercises to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of HSE processes.
- Work closely with third-party auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in HSE management within building construction projects.
- Professional certifications related to HSE are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to influence and drive a positive safety culture.
- Proficient in using HSE software and tools.
