Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Experience: Typically 10-15+ years in health & safety, with a proven track record in management roles.

Key Certifications (Highly Recommended)

• NEBOSH: Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or International General Certificate (IGC).
• IOSH: Chartered Membership (CMIOSH) or Graduate Membership (GradIOSH).
• CSP/OHST: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST).

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• Technical: Risk assessment, emergency planning, auditing, legal compliance, incident investigation, safety management systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, detail-oriented.
• Industry: Knowledge of relevant industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
