HSE Officer-Civil Construction

Our client, a leading construction company in Qatar, is currently seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Officer (NEBOSH IGC – Level 3 mandatory) to join their team in Doha. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures on-site, ensuring compliance with both local regulations and international HSE standards.

Job Title: HSE Officer

Location: Wakra

Employment Type: Full-time, 2-Year Contract (Extendable)

Working Days: Saturday to Thursday

Working Hours: 10 hours per day (6:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Monthly Salary: QAR 4,000 (Food, Accommodation & Transportation: Provided by the company)

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce compliance with company and project HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions
• Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to maintain HSE standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field
• NEBOSH IGC (All 3 units) certification is mandatory
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction or industrial projects
• Familiarity with Qatari safety regulations and international HSE best practices
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments
