HSE Officer/HSE Manager - Fiber Optics - Traffic infrastructure

Job Summary:
Responsible for managing health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HSE plans and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety protocols
• Oversee electrical and ITS installation safety practices
• Manage LOTO procedures and hazardous material handling
• Conduct safety training and toolbox talks
• Lead incident investigations and reporting
• Maintain HSE documentation and reporting
• Liaise with authorities and ensure permit compliance
• Ensure subcontractor adherence to HSE requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE plans, procedures, and policies in line with project requirements.
• Ensure all site activities comply with RTA safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
• Monitor site activities including:
• Installation of Outstation and Hub Cabinets
• Electrical and fiber cabling works.
• Ensure safe working practices in live traffic environments.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• Coordinate with project team and stakeholders on all HSE-related matters.
• Maintain all HSE records, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects
• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
