Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an HSEQ Superintendent, located in Kadikoy. The HSEQ Superintendent will oversee and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations within the maritime industry. Daily tasks include but not limited implementing, monitoring, and evaluating safety protocols, managing audits and inspections, preparing reports, and collaborating with teams to establish risk mitigation strategies and ensure proper training. The role also involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) management systems and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and deliver HSEQ training
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
• Understanding of the maritime industry and related HSEQ standards is highly advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency as Captain / Chief Officer.
• Fluent in English
• Familarity with following a SMS and marpol regulations.
