The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations at our food storage and dispatch centers. This role requires strong leadership, efficiency in managing people and processes, and an eye for detail to maintain food quality, safety, and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inbound and outbound movement of food consignments across cities.
- Ensure proper storage of meals as per FSSAI and hygiene standards.
- Supervise warehouse staff, delivery coordinators, and packaging teams.
- Maintain inventory accuracy for packaging materials, meal stock, and logistics supplies.
- Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and ensure zero wastage or spoilage.
- Track dispatch timelines and coordinate with logistics partners for on-time intercity deliveries.
- Monitor daily KPIs: order accuracy, delivery turnaround, wastage control, and staff efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure hot and cold storage/temperature-controlled systems are functioning properly.
- Train the team on safety, hygiene, and SOP adherence.
- Report daily/weekly operational data to management.
Requirements
- Graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business Administration (preferred).
- 4–9 years of experience in warehouse / logistics management, preferably in FMCG, food, or e-commerce.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (FSSAI compliance) is a plus.
