Human Geography Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and interactive classes in Human Geography for national and international curricula (CBSE / ICSE / IB / IGCSE / AP).
• Prepare students for AP Human Geography, school examinations, and international assessments.
• Design lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and case studies aligned with global standards.
• Integrate current world events, demographic data, and case-based analysis to enrich classroom learning.
• Track and evaluate student performance through periodic assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the academic team to enhance EduQuest’s geography curriculum and resource materials.
• Conduct doubt-solving sessions and maintain individual progress records.
• Encourage students to apply geographic thinking to real-life challenges such as sustainability, globalization, and urbanization.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Studies, or related field.
• Prior teaching experience (minimum 2 years preferred) in high school or coaching institutes.
• Strong conceptual clarity in physical, human, and economic geography.
• Familiarity with AP / IB / IGCSE or international syllabi preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Technologically adept (comfortable with digital whiteboards, online teaching platforms, and interactive content tools).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in curriculum design or academic mentoring.
• Ability to relate geography concepts with global issues (e.g., migration, urban planning, geopolitics).
• Student-centric teaching approach with a focus on concept building and curiosity development.
• Data interpretation and mapping skills (GIS knowledge is a plus).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹9,800.70 - ₹40,284.25 per month

Expected hours: 10 – 50 per week
