Role Description
This is a Full time role for a Recruiter at Cogent E Services. The role is an on-site position located inBangalore . The Recruiter will handle the full recruitment cycle, including creating job descriptions,sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and managing the hiringprocess. Key Responsibilities
Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including job description creation, candidate sourcing,and screening· Proficiency in conducting interviews and assessing candidate qualifications· Strong communication and interpersonal skills· Ability to coordinate efficiently with hiring managers and other stakeholders· Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software· Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices· Majorly a Generalist role taking care of HR queries and exits as well.· Ability to work on-site in Chennai· Strong organizational and time management skills· Previous experience in the BPO industry is a plus
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition· Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through job portals, social media, and internalreferrals.· Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers.· Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including offer rollouts and joining formalities.· Maintain a healthy talent pipeline for future requirements.
2. Onboarding & ID Creation· Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, ensuring all joining formalities arecompleted.· Create employee IDs, email IDs, and system access as per company standards.· Conduct HR orientations and ensure new employees are integrated into the organization.
3. Attendance & HR Operations· Monitor attendance, leave records, and work schedules using HRMS or attendancesystems.· Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate attendance inputs.· Follow up with employees and managers for discrepancies or missing information.
4. Documentation & Record Management· Maintain updated employee records, HR files, and confidential documents.· Prepare employment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR documents.· Ensure timely collection and verification of employee documentation.
5. Employee Relations (ER)· Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and workplace issues.
6. Employee Engagement & Welfare· Organize employee engagement activities, celebrations, and team-building events.· Support initiatives that boost employee morale and workplace culture.
7. Policy Compliance & Coordination· Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.· Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and SOPs.· Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
Skills Required:·
Good verbal communication in English, and one regional language .
Ready to travel across for external Hiring through NGO's and campus's· Strong listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.
Basic computer literacy – familiarity with MS Office, typing, and navigating systems.· Good problem-solving skills and presence of mind.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.· Team player with a positive attitude and flexibility.
