Qualification: MBA / PGDM – HR | MSW | LLB (added advantage)
Role Objective
The Human Resource Manager will lead end-to-end HR operations, ensuring statutory compliance, manpower planning, talent acquisition, industrial relations, performance management, and employee engagement across manufacturing units. The role requires hands-on experience in factory HR and labour law compliance.
Key Responsibilities1. Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition
- Develop annual manpower plans aligned with production and business growth.
- Lead recruitment for plant, technical, sales, and corporate roles.
- Manage recruitment agencies, campus hiring, and local hiring for operators & staff.
- Ensure timely onboarding and induction.
2. Factory HR & Labour Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Labour Laws, Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity.
- Handle contract labour management, vendor compliance, and attendance systems.
- Manage shop-floor HR, shift scheduling, leave management, and discipline.
- Liaison with Labour Department, PF, ESI authorities.
3. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll processing (in-house or outsourced).
- Design salary structures, incentives, and performance-linked pay.
- Ensure statutory deductions & timely filings.
- Benchmark compensation with industry standards.
4. Performance Management & Appraisals
- Implement KRA/KPI-based performance management systems.
- Coordinate appraisal cycles, increments, and promotions.
- Support management in identifying high-potential employees & successors.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs for operators, supervisors, and staff.
- Conduct induction, safety, compliance, leadership, and skill-based training.
- Coordinate statutory trainings like safety, fire, and first aid.
- Support productivity improvement initiatives.
6. Employee Engagement & Industrial Relations
- Maintain healthy industrial relations and grievance handling.
- Manage disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and employee counselling.
- Plan employee engagement activities to reduce attrition.
- Foster a positive work culture aligned with company values.
7. HR Policies, SOPs & Systems
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
- Ensure smooth functioning of attendance, leave, payroll & HRMS systems.
- Maintain employee records and MIS reporting.
8. HR MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly HR MIS: manpower, attrition, absenteeism, overtime.
- Provide data insights for management decision-making.
- Support audits and inspections related to HR & labour compliance.
