Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions. This role is ideal for someone with solid HR experience who can work with minimal supervision, handle employee inquiries, and support compliance, benefits, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish is required to effectively support our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and documentation
- Maintain and audit employee personnel files to ensure compliance with California employment regulations
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening coordination, and candidate communication
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, eligibility tracking, and employee support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
- Support employee relations matters by gathering documentation and assisting with investigations as needed
- Track and assist with compliance requirements, including Paid Sick Leave, CFRA/FMLA, and required trainings
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and process improvements
- Collaborate with HR leadership to support day-to-day HR operations

Monday - Friday
8:30am - 5:00pm
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of HR experience (HR Assistant or similar role)
- Bilingual Spanish/English required (verbal and written)
- Working knowledge of California employment laws and HR practices
- Experience supporting benefits, employee relations, and HR compliance
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS/payroll systems experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
