TEMPORARY OPENING

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of approximately 20 weeks.

Starting at $25.00/hour

Primary Function

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources this position provides exceptional guest service to employees; provides training and support to the Glenwood Hot Spring Resort (GHSR) management and supervisory team; manages talent acquisition and onboarding; ensures employees have clear awareness and understanding of their benefits and assists in the administration and coordination of safety and health policies, procedures and programs.

Reporting and Accountability:

The Human Resources Administrator reports to, and is accountable to the Director of Human Resources.

Authority:

The HR Administrator has the support and authority necessary to carry out the responsibilities and tasks described in this job description and other responsibilities of the Human Resources Department.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and read instructions
  • Ability to climb stairs and push, pull, carry and lift at least 30 pounds.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytic skills
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to manage stress when working on deadlines.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Human Resources and safety regulations and policies preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality and high-level guest service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Suite. Experience using Paycom is preferred.
  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of employee benefit plans, structures, and guidelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • On site, regular and reliable attendance is critical to this position.

Work Hours and Days

This is a temporary position, with an expected duration of approximately 20 weeks. Works hours and days are generally Monday through Friday and can include holidays; may require weekends and overtime occasionally.
