TITLE: Human Resources Analyst for Support Personnel
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SALARY RANGE: $46,476 - $65,340 (Based on Experience)
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve Months
LOCATION: Simpson Building
REPORTS TO: Director of Certified Personnel
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree from an accredited institution is required.

Five years of successful professional work experience is preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficient technology skills (Google Sheets, Google Documents, Various Presentation Formats).

Ability to speak before groups of people with poise, voice control and confidence.

Ability to analyze and compile data, as well as, report information and compose presentations.

Ability to track data over time and in a variety of formats.

Ability to perform a variety of tasks and maintain flexibility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of keying, grasping, kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license.
JOB GOAL: To assist the Director of Certified Personnel with planning and coordinating the
operation of the Human Resources Office as it relates to support personnel such as substitute teachers, non-faculty coaches, tutors, etc. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing support personnel processes and programs, facilitating the support personnel hiring process, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring compliance of federal, state and local employment laws.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: An individual must possess the ability to perform these essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. The following are typical of the duties performed:

Assist the Director of Certified Personnel with planning, development and establishment of new, modified and/or improved support personnel programs, services and activities.

Assist the Director of Certified Personnel with all aspects of the hiring process including, but not limited to: posting vacancies, maintaining accurate job descriptions, interviewing applicants, reviewing and processing application documents, checking references, processing criminal background checks for applicants, facilitating the hiring and onboarding process, tracking hiring and vacancy data.

Manage Human Resources Information Systems (such as Applicant Tracking, LINQ, CRC, AESOP) for the purpose of ensuring systems are functioning, providing accurate information, and performing the intended service.

Keep the Director of Certified Personnel informed of pertinent support personnel developments and events; and seek counsel and direction as necessary.

Interpret federal, state and local personnel/human resources policies, programs, and procedures to a variety of audiences.

Assist school administrators as needed with the hiring process.

Assist in employee recruitment, retention, transfers, and incentive programs.

Participate as a contributing member of the Human Resources Department.

Attend job fairs and other recruitment related events for the purpose of recruiting new hires.

Handle sensitive and highly personal applicant and employee information.

Receive and respond to emails, written correspondence, and telephone inquiries.

Complete other duties as assigned.
