Overview
Join our dynamic organization as a Human Resources and Safety Manager, where you'll lead the development and execution of comprehensive HR strategies while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee HR policies aligned with employment law, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, and industry best practices to ensure legal compliance and promote a safe workplace.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ATS (Applicant Tracking System), and other channels; manage interview processes, onboarding, employee orientation, and training & development programs.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts promptly through effective conflict management strategies; facilitate performance management processes including employee evaluations and succession planning.
- Administer employee benefits programs such as workers' compensation, health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies like FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), ensuring clear communication and compliance.
- Lead safety initiatives by implementing TDLR & FMCSA/DOT standards, conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and maintaining safety training programs to uphold TDLR & FMCSA/DOT compliance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational design projects; support change management efforts to enhance HR processes such as HR sourcing, organization restructuring, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, workers' compensation procedures, and benefits administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition strategies including recruiting, interviewing techniques, and employee evaluation methods.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and basic computer knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences including senior leadership.
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict management, program management, and strategic planning to foster a positive organizational culture.

Pay: $50,359.02 - $60,647.42 per year
