Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing employee relations, facilitating training development, and ensuring smooth HR operations. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about human resources and eager to contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Duties

  • Assist with employee orientation and onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
  • Support the HR team in managing employee relations, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee records.
  • Conduct research on best practices in HR policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Help coordinate training development programs for employees, ensuring they have access to necessary resources for professional growth.
  • Participate in employee evaluation processes, assisting with performance review documentation and feedback collection.
  • Negotiate with vendors or service providers as needed for HR-related services or supplies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR support role or similar administrative position is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent research skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to assist in training development initiatives that align with company goals.
  • Knowledge of employee evaluation processes and best practices in employee relations is a plus.
  • Proficient in Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other relevant software applications.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
