Human Resources Assistant

India

The HR Executive is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training & development, performance management, payroll coordination, and compliance with labor laws. The role ensures smooth and efficient business operations aligned with the organization's values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and shortlisting candidates.
  • Conduct initial rounds of interviews and coordinate with department heads for final selection.
  • Manage the onboarding process, including documentation, induction, and orientation.

2. Employee Relations

  • Address employee queries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in resolving employee grievances and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and events.

3. HR Operations

  • Maintain employee records and update HR databases and HRIS systems.
  • Coordinate attendance, leave records, and generate monthly reports.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data like absences, bonus, and leaves.

4. Performance Management

  • Assist in implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Coordinate performance review schedules and follow-ups with managers and staff.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs in coordination with department heads.
  • Organize internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain training records and feedback.

6. Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in policy creation, review, and communication.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or related administrative roles.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRMS/HRIS systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,136.92 - ₹25,198.88 per month
