Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions related to human resources. This role involves assisting with employee onboarding, benefits administration, data entry, and maintaining compliance with employment and labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of HR processes and systems such as ADP and Microsoft Office. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives within a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support talent acquisition efforts through HR sourcing and social media recruitment campaigns
  • Assist with employee orientation, onboarding, and training & development programs
  • Maintain accurate data entry and ensure data collection.
  • Aid in performance management processes such as employee evaluations and succession planning
  • Manage employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Support compliance efforts related to OSHA, FMLA, affirmative action planning, and contracts
  • Contribute to change management initiatives and organization design projects
  • Assist with payroll processing tasks.
  • Prepare reports on HR.
  • Handle administrative duties including document preparation, data entry, and maintaining personnel files

Experience

  • Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred
  • Familiarity with ADP and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including FMLA and OSHA standards
  • Experience in talent acquisition activities and social media sourcing strategies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills for effective employee engagement and conflict management
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of benefits administration, payroll processing, and data management

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
