We currently have an opening for an HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team.

Position Summary:

This position provides a wide variety of general clerical, administrative and receptionist support for the HR department and corporate office along with assisting visitors and vendors.

Job Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to keep specified HR information confidential
  • Strong people skills with servant hearted demeanor
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Professional appearance and demeanor on a daily basis
  • Previous HR background or other experience handling confidential information strongly preferred.

Job Duties:

  • Courteously greet visitors, determine their needs and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Receptionist duties- answer and refer telephone calls or other inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communications.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and distribute departmental mail on a daily basis.
  • Word-processing, which may include departmental correspondence, reports and emails.
  • Photocopying and faxing documents
  • Organize effort for annual blood mobiles and mobile mammogram trucks
  • Organize efforts for monthly Lunch and Learns, Birthday lunches and catering orders
  • Creating Fed Ex labels for the expedited packages for office personnel
  • Occasional bank deposits and errands on behalf of management.
  • Maintaining devotion schedule and communicating with devotion speakers
  • Ordering flowers for employees for hospitalizations or deaths in family.
  • Maintaining all stationery, fed ex and office supplies
  • Assisting with annual 1099 audits
  • Running annual Motor Vehicle Reports for applicable employees
  • Weekly filing assistance with HR and payroll documentation
  • Preparing weekly security badges and orientation materials for new employees
  • This position requires the highest level of confidentiality. Individual may be exposed to sensitive documents, meeting content or conversations, as well as privileged personnel information on occasion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in an excellent manner
