Position Summary
Optimus Courier is seeking a structured and dependable HR Assistant to lead hiring efforts, support employee benefits administration, and assist with workforce compliance and employee relations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an organized environment and understands the importance of documentation, regulatory compliance, and professional communication. HR Assistant will also be responsible for clerical, administrative work to support the Management.
Core Responsibilities
- · Lead full-cycle recruiting including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and onboarding coordination
- · Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits including health, dental, 401(k), PTO tracking, and related programs
- · Support compliance with Minnesota and federal workforce regulations, including documentation and recordkeeping requirements
- · Maintain accurate employee files and ensure all required certifications and records are up to date
- · Assist with employee relations matters by providing professional communication and documentation support when needed
- · Coordinate with payroll providers for basic timekeeping review and payroll-related documentation as required.
- · Provide clerical and office administrative tasks as needed by management.
Qualifications
- · 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or HR Administration
- · Experience managing recruiting and employee onboarding processes
- · Bachelor’s degree in human resource or Related Fields.
- · Familiarity with benefits administration and workforce compliance
- · Working knowledge of Minnesota and federal employment regulations preferred
- · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- · Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Pay: $48,200.00 - $50,200.00 per year
